Teaching Methodology
The tutor is an experienced practitioner and learners can expect an interactive live class, including lecture style, group discussion, breakouts, practical assignments and Q&A.
Entry Requirements
There are no academic entry requirements for this course. Participants will need a proficient level of English to engage with the course content and complete the assessments.
Technology Requirements
Participants will require a laptop/desktop computer with camera and microphone to participate fully with the content and complete the assessments. Zoom will be used as the class delivery platform, and access to Powerpoint/Google Slides/Keynote or other presentation software will also be required.

Assessment and Certification
This course is assessed through a recorded presentation and written log.
Participants will receive the Certificate in Marketing from Kingstown College following successful completion of the course work and assessments. This course is not on the National Framework of Qualifications.
Course Director - Alan Brereton
Alan is the author of the upcoming book ‘Selling Yourself’, and has extensive experience in marketing, TV and media industry. He has produced and presented live TV programmes and TV commercials, as well as corporate video projects. He is the Chief Operations Officer at Kingstown College, and previously served as Head of Marketing. Alan is also an accredited coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and lectures on the coaching Diploma at Kingstown College. He is a marketing practitioner and is passionate about empowering the marketing abilities of those who are new to the function.
